Something Lost
This shot and the meaning behind it is rather heavy, I wanted to make an offering to those little lives lost in Palestine In the beginning of this current conflict, so here we are.
But as I kept working with this print I realized it also represents the loss of our childhoods, and shows the loneliness that a lot of us feel as adults, If only it were as easy to make friends like when we were kids.
It was particularly hard for me, as it is my young son in that costume in the photo and as much as I would like to prevent the inevitable there are just somethings that will come, that I can not protect him from.
